Extending The Table
Our desire is that we all grow, not just in knowledge, but, in the practice of sharing our faith. That we seek to invite others to find their place at the family table with Jesus. In tandem with our upcoming sermon series on our missional value, we will be offering a number of learning and serving opportunities designed to equip you in this area. We invite you to prayerfully consider how God is inviting you to lean into being a witness to others.
Baptism Class
Baptism is an important part of each person’s faith story. It is an outward sign—a step of obedience—taken by a disciple of Jesus Christ. If you are interested in receiving the sacrament of baptism here at New Life Fellowship, taking our baptism class is the first step.
YAM 2nd Fridays
If you’re a young adult (25-35), join other young adults for a time of fun, community, and spiritual formation! It will be a great opportunity to meet new people, connect, and grow in your faith.
Socials After Service – Brooklyn Residents
To help foster connection in our large community, we hold monthly socials – a 30-minute guided interactive time held after service in our Blue Room. If you live in Brooklyn and would like to connect in this season with other Brooklynites at New Life, we invite you to come and join us.
NextGen Student Retreat
Join us at Bryn Mawr Mountain Retreat Center for the NextGen Student Ministry Retreat. The cost of the retreat is $200.00. A deposit of $50.00 is due upon registration. The retreat is for Students between 6th grade and 12th grade at the beginning of September 2023. There are limited scholarships available.
Marriage Foundations
This seminar for couples who are engaged, seriously dating, or newly married, will offer practical tools to help you prepare for a lifetime journey together. Experienced marriage therapist, Victoria Sotelo, and her husband, Rev. Walter Sotelo, will cover topics such as a what is a biblical understanding of marriage, managing conflict resolution, and fostering a healthy dialogue around sexual intimacy. The cost to attend ranges from $110 – $150 per couple.
New Life Brothers Retreat
This men’s retreat is a great opportunity to go deeper in our life with God and with one another. If you’re looking for unhurried time to connect with God and other New Life brothers, you won’t want to miss this event! The cost to attend is $145 (scholarships available).
