Easter 2026 SQ Title Website

Hope is alive. And you’re invited.

Easter is the celebration at the heart of the Christian faith—the moment we remember that Jesus defeated death and offers hope, forgiveness, and new life to everyone.

Whether you’ve followed Jesus for years, are exploring faith, or are simply looking for hope and community, we’d love for you to join us this Easter season.

Come experience meaningful worship, an encouraging message, and a welcoming community as we celebrate the good news of Easter together.

Join us for Good Friday

When everything seems lost, God is still at work.

Friday, April 03

3PM | 5PM | 7PM

82-10 Queens Boulevard, Elmhurst, NY 11373

Good Friday is the moment in the story of Jesus where everything appears to fall apart. But even in the darkness of the cross, God was accomplishing something the world couldn’t yet see.

This year, we invite you to journey with us along the road to the cross.

We will be having a churchwide gathering (East and Elmhurst) at our location in Queens. We’ll begin the evening with worship and a short message, and then the heart of the service will be an interactive, family-friendly experience through contemplative prayer centers. These guided spaces will help people of all ages reflect on Jesus’ journey to the cross in a meaningful and accessible way.

Whether you come on your own, with friends, or with your family, this will be a unique opportunity to pause, reflect, and experience the depth of God’s love shown through Jesus.

Easter Sunday

Easter reminds us that death does not have the final word. Jesus rose from the grave, offering forgiveness, freedom, and life that lasts forever.

Join us as we celebrate this life-changing truth together.

We will be holding three Easter services at our Elmhurst location and one at our East location on Long Island. Everyone is welcome—whether this is your first time at church or you’ve been attending for years.

Our 10:30am service at Elmhurst will also be livestreamed on Facebook, YouTube, and at elmhurst.newlife.nyc/live. Our 12:30pm service at East will stream on YouTube.

Holy Week Resources

Meal of Rememberance

During Holy Week, we’re encouraging people to gather with family, close friends, or their small group for something called the Meal of Remembrance.

Together, you’ll share a meal and read the story of the night Jesus gathered with his disciples before his arrest.

We’ve created a guide to make the experience simple and meaningful.

If you’re looking for a way to reflect on Jesus during Holy Week, this could be a beautiful opportunity.

Holy Week Podcast

You’re invited to listen to our Holy Week Reflections podcast, led by our New Life Pastors.  Starting on Palm Sunday, we will launch a new episode each day journeying through the final days of Jesus’ life, leading to the cross and the resurrection.

These short, guided reflections are an invitation to slow down, be present, and consider the meaning of this sacred story.

As we move toward Easter, we pray these reflections helps you create space for renewal, honesty, and deeper connection with God.
