This year’s offering will help us do three key things:
Resource the ministries that fuel our mission.
Our weekly ministries at both New Life Fellowship in Elmhurst and New Life East remain the heartbeat of our church—places where discipleship, worship, and community take place week after week.
- NextGen Ministries (children, youth, and young adults)
- Community Life (small groups, formation courses, pastoral care)
- Sunday Worship Ministries (Elmhurst and East)
Make strategic improvements to our facilities in Elmhurst and Long Island.
We want our physical spaces to reflect the beauty and hospitality of God’s presence. This year, we’re focusing on:
- Begin replacing the chairs in our main sanctuary (starting with the main level). The chairs on the main floor have served us for over two decades; those in the balcony have been in use since 1923! It’s time to create a more comfortable, welcoming, and unified worship environment.
- Completing the renovation of our middle school space in the lower level—an investment in the next generation.
- Fully furnishing New Life East’s new space. New Life East will be moving into a new space next year, hopefully by Easter. We want to position our East congregation to thrive in their new home from day one.
Support local and global ministries that are reaching others with the good news of Jesus.
Generosity doesn’t stop at our doors. Through this offering, we’ll support ministries that are extending the love of Christ both locally and globally:
- New Life CDC – Funding a new social-emotional wellness program for families and women in need at the nearby Boulevard Family Shelter, and strengthening our ongoing food pantry ministry.
- Emotionally Healthy Discipleship – Training pastors and leaders worldwide in emotionally healthy spirituality and leadership.
- InterVarsity Christian Fellowship – Reaching college students across our city with the message of Jesus.
- Global Partners – Supporting the work of Rick and Jiji Harner in the Philippines and Jeannette Felix in Haiti, bringing hope and transformation to their communities.
